develop that idea
With my website I want to create a portfolio to showcase my music visuals. I aim for my website to be bold, offbeat, and
filled with kinetic energy representing the kind of work I make and my personality.
THE discovery + research journey
Being that my work is rather odd, I want a website that is energetic--matching the energy of my work--while also being
easy to navigate. Additionally, I aim to mainly focus on visuals--that's my whole shtick--so my website won't rely
heavily on text. While researching other websites, I looked for animated aspects, minimal text, and easy navigation.
Lena Weber: I like how everything is out in the open and easy to find pertaining to navigation on
the site. I also really like how her pieces that are video adjacent/ animated automatically move--it adds a nice
sense of kinetic energy!
Weirdcore: Though the color palette kinda kills things, I really like the animations littered
around the site! The animated logo really catches my eye, and the small details such as the animated borders
and little fuzz that occurs when you hover over a project are really cool.
Renata Rakash: I really appreciate the use of videos as backgrounds across the site! It's a fun
way to highlight one's work in addition to what's already there or static as it's a thumbnail, etc. As I've said
I love kinetic energy in a site--especially one centered around visuals such as videos.
who's interested in my work ?
Perspective clients and those who just wish to enjoy my art are my target audience! I'll probably attract an experimental, offbeat, alternative audience as that's how
my work translates.
